One-Day Conference with Experts from the Text & Canon Institute
Come hear the history of history’s most amazing book.
Have you ever wondered about the origins of the Bible or been asked questions about its background like: Why are there so many translations? or Why do some Bibles have different books? If you’ve ever found yourself wondering about, doubting, or interested in the history of the Bible, then you can’t miss this one-day conference with Dr. John Meade and Dr. Peter Gurry of the Text & Canon Institute.
In the four breakout sessions, you’ll learn about the canon debates and decisions, the history of the English Bible, and the textual criticism of the Old and New Testaments. Come walk through the history of the Bible, from the writing styles of ancient scribes and the debates over which books belong, to the history of translations and the beauty of God’s Word.
This event is free with registration and includes general admission to the museum for the day. Register to attend in person or online via Zoom.
