Explore the American home with our 31 period rooms and so much more! FREE

The DAR Museum exhibits the furniture, ceramics, paintings, textiles and other decorative things people kept in their homes. Get an idea of how Americans lived when the United States was new through our 31 period rooms, each decorated to look like a specific time period and place in American history. The rooms range in date from 1690-1930.

Be sure to tour the main gallery with its annually changing exhibit, and the study gallery where you can get up close and personal with hundreds of objects including photographs, scientific instruments, quilts, jewelry, and more.

Join us for our special events including lectures, Girl Scout programs, and festivals.
See website for hours and other visitor information.
