Southern hospitality at its finest since 1993.
Low country cuisine at its best. Seafood at the height of freshness and dishes with flavors pulled from regional culture and history. This is the essence of Georgia Brown's, and we are ready to welcome you and your guests just as we have hosted Presidents and First Ladies and foreign heads of state. You never know who you are going to see at Georgia Brown's just two blocks from the White House and McPherson Square.
Low-Country Southern Cuisine is our country's richest culinary tradition. The food is to be slowly savored. We serve everything from our traditional Fried Green Tomatoes to our iconic Perlau straight from Charleston; and don't forget about our famous buttermilk fried chicken. No meal is complete at Georgia Brown's without our homemade ice cream a top our peach cobbler which will cause you to swing your feet while your spoon clatters to get every last bite. Please visit our website to view our menus which includes our famous Sunday Jazz Brunch and our Gluten Free menu.
We have live jazz on Wednesday evenings and during our Sunday brunch. While we do not have a driving private room, Georgia Brown's is available for private functions of up to 175 guests.
