Summer Concert Series Kicks Off with Quantico Marine Band
Join us on June 26th at 7 p.m., as our Summer Concert Series kicks off with Quantico Marine Band performing at the National Museum of the Marine Corps!
Established in 1918, the Quantico Marine Band is one of the oldest professional musical ensembles in the Marine Corps. With an authorized strength of one Officer and 50 enlisted Marines, the Band provides musical support as directed by the Commandant of the Marine Corps and the Commander of Marine Corps Base Installations National Capitol Region, Marine Corps Base Quantico. This performance will feature the might of a Marine Marching Band, the fun of our Brass Band, and the rocking energy of the Popular Music Group.
The free Summer Concerts are held outdoors on the National Museum of the Marine Corps' entry plaza, weather permitting. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets. Please enjoy extended hours before the concert begins. The Museum, Rifle Range, Tun Tavern and Museum Store will be open until 6:45 p.m.. Enjoy our trigger happy hour in the Laser Simulated Rifle Range for $2.50. Outdoor concessions will be available. *No alcoholic beverages will be permitted on the Museum grounds.
