As more in-person events return, including theater, live music and sports, as well as the continued opening of new restaurants throughout the city, the fall season is a special time in Washington, DC.
We’re excited to celebrate some of this year’s major cultural milestones. The Kennedy Center’s 50th Anniversary officially kicks off this month with a celebration concert as well as a grand reopening of all stages and campuses. The centerpiece of the Smithsonian’s 175th anniversary is the reopening of the Arts & Industries Building in November after a two-decade closure with FUTURES. The experience will fuse awe-inspiring art, technology, design and history, inviting visitors to dream big and imagine many possible futures.
